Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
